Olivia Lathuilliere

J’ai commencé mon aventure artistique au Pavillon Bosio de Monaco en 1999. Après une carrière enrichissante au Canada, j’ai choisi de revenir m’installer dans la région il y a maintenant 3 ans.
Aujourd’hui, je m’investis comme artiste en résidence à l’École Internationale de Monaco, dans ma pratique je développe des projets en installation sonore, photo, vidéo et performance. Ce retour aux sources et mon engagement actuel renforcent mon attachement à la Principauté, à la fois sur le plan humain et artistique

Eng Olivia Faye Lathuillière develops a multidisciplinary practice through sound installations, video, film, and performance, with a central focus on movement. Guided by a quest for essence, her work gives a fundamental place to the ephemeral, a recurring presence throughout both her visual and performative explorations.
Her research investigates the intimate relationship between the body and its environment. Through gesture, she choreographs matter, light, and sound in motion—creating a dynamic space where sensory experience and physical perception intersect. Her work has been presented internationally in festivals and galleries across Québec (MUTEK, Festival Send+Receive, OFFTA, FNC, Casteliers), in Spain (Museum of Contemporary Art of Alicante – Videoart Fest), in the United Kingdom (Manipulate Festival, Tobacco Factory Theatre), and in the United States (La MaMa Experimental Theatre – New York, Aggregate Space Gallery – California).
